Founded in the summer of 2013, the Shameless Hex play a variety of music, centered around folk and bluegrass originals intertwined with touches of classic rock, gypsy jazz, reggae, and country covers. We love playing the music that we grew up with, and want to share it with our fun loving family, friends, and fans. We hope you’ll join us at any of our upcoming events to create memories and share in our shameless hex for music. For bookings, please submit our contact form and reach out to us via Facebook Messenger through the link at the bottom of the page.
Our current line up consists of Joe Kolenda (bottom right) singing lead vocals, playing guitar and harmonica; Adam Levine (top right) on the bass guitar and vocals, Adam Mucho (top left) on slide guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki, and Bryan Bowman (bottom left) on the drums. The sound of this group has extended beyond the folky/bluegrass origins of the band to mix in more funk, reggae, blues, and jazz stylings, making what we call Appalachian Psych Folk Rock.
We are so grateful for the continues support of the local music community. We’ve grown musically, and we’re so happy for those who have embraced our music and kept us going. Thank you.
